What happened to Truesbury?

Wondering why the change in format of our beloved satire strip, Truesbury?  Perhaps this little limerick will help clear it up:

There once was a doodler, Trudeau
Who declared, “The establishment blows!”
He’s now famous and rich
And he’s quite quick to bitch.
He’s become that which once he so loathed.

Trudeau’s always been a leftwing ‘establishment’ douche, it’s what he does best.

First I’ve seen THIS site-via PJ Media. Certainly NOT the first I’ve seen of Truesbury (or (ie)Day by Day) or even *sigh* Funny Times.
    1. Ms. Always RIGHT? Mindful of potential copyright issues, (Georgia Satellites) I’m more familiar with (little) Ms. Can’t-be-wrong.
In MY “sphere”, I am sometimes called “Ooooo…Mr. Right….Mr. ALWAYS right!”
But usually only in response to my ” told ya’ so…YET AGAIN”

What a shame. I only found your site today, and I have been laughing hysterically. Can’t you claim that it isn’t a derivative work because Trudeau isn’t actually funny to begin with?

I’d like to read his complaint, and learn how much of it the judge included in the order – especially the irreparable harm part. Guess you won’t be honored guests at the Saranac Lake Festival in February.

Anything you could use in the public domain? Thomas Nast?

Thank you for a year of good laughs –
